This is not your ordinary bean spread. We like to call it the Italian Hummus. It all starts with freshly soaked cannellini beans, oven roasted garlic and extra virgin olive oil pureed to a velvety texture. In this classic version, we fold in finely chopped fresh sage and a sprinkle of sea salt. Try it as a delicious vegetable or chip dip. It can also be used as mayonnaise substitute.
